Infants should ALWAYS be put to sleep on their backs unless (advised otherwise by your pediatrician)
and never in an adult bed especially a water bed.
Remove plush toys, quilts, comforters, etc. out of the crib for infants under the age of one.
Bumper pads should fit snug and be removed from the crib once your child can pull him/herself up.
Also, crib slats should be no more than 2 3/8 inches apart.
Never leave your child unattened on the changing table and make sure to keep all items you need for a
diaper change within arms reach.
Use nightlights with a safety covering as traditional nightlights can be easily broken or removed which
can be extremely dangerous.
Never put wall hangings over cribs, if pulled down it could become a smothering hazard.
Mobiles should be removed from over the crib once your child is pulling him/herself up.
To prevent tall and heavy furniture from tipping attach it wall studs using approved strapping.
